_______________
Problem Statement:
I had a group of 10 learners using a same Linkedin account to study Camtasia (sorry Linkedin, we are poor and your learning content is good). I struggled to figure out how to track each person’s learning progress. And, how to make the tracking more fun?
Solution inspiration:
- Pomodoro apps like Forest.
- Project management applications
Solution Description:
- A Google Sheet file for each learner to note their learning progress.
- Each learning progress is visualized as a “seed”. The more learning goals you accomplish, the more this “seed” blooms into a brilliant tree or flower.
The final output is a template HERE.
Or your can learn how to make your own template using a few steps as below:
(1) Learn the formular to insert images with conditions at Excel and Google Sheet
(2) Build an image set at Canva (in the Link is my set) – the recommended image size is 150 x 350 pixels.
(3) Insert the image using the IF formular
(4) You can also create a discussion boards with Padlet
Besides the “seed” image, some other images are also completely reasonable such as the cat, the rocket, or Pokemon evolution.
Hopefully, this simple tip will inspire you to use readily available, familiar tools to make your learning journey more fun (— we have to ignore the part of meeting the learning objectives for sometimes, please.)
