this is one of the two posts that i journal my social media experience as a requirement (and beyond) for the class. i’m hoping that by the end of the summer semester, I’ll be able to see some pattern to it!
    – TikTok in 10: a recap of the content that i saw in a 10-minute scroll, including a snapshot of their content and what I’ve learned from it.
    – TikTok Weekly Hot: top 3 videos of the week chosen from the videos that i have saved.

as you may (or may not) have noticed, I have added the actions “check out profile” and “scroll comment” to the table. i found these two actions to be crucial when deciding whether or not to save a video. Sometimes it’s not just the content, but also the creator’s profile and comments that are so helpful/amusing.

i have no “not interest” for this week as of yet, but only fast skips. as a result of my mind wandering during this 10-minute recording, i actually forgot to do it. this serves as a reminder for me to resume practicing mindful scrolling to ensure that i actively curate my feed! stay patient, meanwhile!

    Greetings fellow classmate!

I’ve yet to venture into TikTok, it’s actually banned on my work’s network, so that makes it extra challenging. It’s a unique venue that reminds me of Vine, an early like app that made making quick, easy fun edits a fun activity. I enjoyed Vine. Now TikTok has some impressive filters, i hear. Find anything that stood out to you?

Hi there Unrealiable Blogger! Nice to see you around! Tiktok has been banned on FSU campus as well, but I can still access it at home or via 4G. I had also heard of Vine, but it was not that popular in Asia, so I did not try it 😦 . Tiktok filters are FANTASTIC, and I’m not just referring to the beauty filters; some of my favorites are random filters, such as random dice, random questions, and color analysis… which can serve as excellent instructional design inspiration!
