favorite learning communities @ Vietnam

As we are learning about international perspectives on social media, I cannot resist sharing to my classmates some of my favorite learning communities and no surprise – they are all on Facebook. Yes, i’m a Tiktok girl – but Facebook is just where you can find the best learning communities in Vietnam.

  1. Vietnam Learning Design Group: I’m proud to be part of this fantastic community over the last year and a half. This group attracts Vietnamese instructional and learning designers all over the worlds with a shared mission to raise awareness and upskill Vietnamese people about instructional and learning design. And yes, we’ve been hosting MONTHLY events consistently for the past two years. Join here
  2. RVN Group: Otherwise known as the Reddit Vietnam Group, this community encourages members to translate and distribute content from a variety of subreddits while ensuring intellectual property rights are respected. Members are required to comment permissions from the original authors under their translations to prevent copyright issues. Join here
  3. Quora Việt Nam: This group functions similarly to the Reddit Vietnam Group. It translates and shares compelling questions and answers from Quora’s platform, thereby enhancing knowledge sharing among Vietnamese users. Join here
  4. Vietnamese TED Community: A community of TED translators who are making TED talks more accessible to the Vietnamese audience. Join here
  5. digiforce: A community that shares information regarding career paths, skills, knowledge, and courses for digital professions such as digital marketing, data analytics, fintech, edtech, and more. Join here
  6. The potato strategists club: This community encourages its members, endearingly referred to as “potatoes,” to ask and share seemingly absurd questions about strategy, branding, advertising, its impact on sales, and the effectiveness of specific advertising campaigns. They have an inspiring goal is to foster strategic thinking, irrespective of one’s role or job title. Join here.
  7. HR Digest: This community shares real-life case studies from a business perspective, making international HR knowledge increasingly relatable and accessible to the Vietnamese HR community. Join here

That’s some of my favorite communities. How about you? Would love to hear more about your favorite community in the comment session!
